- What information do I need to provide?
- Your full name, birth date (day/month/year), birth time (as precise as you have), and the city or area where you were born. We geocode the birthplace automatically—country-level is enough if that's all you have, though a city gives more accurate house positions.
- How accurate is the birth chart?
- The chart mathematics are computed from your birth coordinates and timezone using standard astronomical algorithms. Accuracy depends primarily on how precise your birth time is—within 5–10 minutes is ideal for correct Ascendant and house cusps. The written sections on Moon nakshatra, planetary signs, and personality themes remain useful even with an approximate time.
- What if I don't know my exact birth time?
- Provide your best estimate, note that it's approximate, and the report will still cover personality, nakshatra nature, Sun/Moon themes, relationships, career, and karmic lessons. The Ascendant and house-specific sections will be less reliable. Your birth certificate or hospital records often have the exact time if you need them.
- How is the written report produced—and how should I read it?
- Your chart is calculated first; the narrative is then composed from that structured chart output so sections reference your placements rather than generic templates. Treat it as a serious starting point for reflection—not a verdict, and not a substitute for licensed medical, legal, or financial advice. - What is a natal chart? What are Placidus-style houses?
- A natal chart (birth chart) is a map of the sky at the exact moment and place of your birth—showing where each planet was located in the zodiac and across the twelve houses of life. We use a Vedic Jyotish (Jyotisha) approach with sidereal (Lahiri) zodiac positions and Placidus-style bhāva (chalit) for house divisions, alongside whole-sign houses and the Navamsa (D9) divisional chart.
- When will I receive my report?
- Generation begins immediately after payment confirms. Delivery typically takes a few minutes. We email two attachments to the address you provide: astrologic-birth-chart.pdf and astrologic-chart-context.md. You can also download the PDF from the confirmation screen. If nothing arrives within 15 minutes, check spam or promotions.
- How is the report delivered?
- You receive two files by email: a PDF (printable report with wheels and tables) and a Markdown file (.md) with the same written sections plus a JSON appendix of your structured chart data. The PDF may also be downloaded from the order success page. No account or login is required.
- What is astrologic-chart-context.md?
- It is a UTF-8 Markdown document shipped with your PDF. It mirrors the narrative chapters and ends with a fenced JSON block containing the same class of sidereal chart data used to generate your report—useful if you want to paste structured context into a note app, research workflow, or an assistant you trust. It is not a substitute for the PDF tables when verifying fine detail.
- Can I use the Markdown file with ChatGPT or other LLMs?
- Yes—that is optional. The JSON appendix is meant to give richer context than pasting prose alone. Astrologic does not control or endorse third-party tools; their answers can be wrong or generic. Ephemeris-backed values in the appendix and the PDF tables are the authoritative calculation layer; treat any LLM output as unverified commentary.
- Is my data private?
- Your birth data and email are used solely to generate and deliver your report. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Payment is handled by Razorpay—we never store your card details. See our Privacy & terms for full details.
- Is the checkout secure?
- Payment is processed through Razorpay, India's leading payment gateway, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Your card or UPI details are handled entirely by Razorpay—we only see a payment confirmation status.
- Can I get a refund?
- Because your report is generated and delivered immediately after payment, we are unable to offer refunds once the PDF and Markdown files have been produced and sent. If there is a technical issue—for example, attachments were missing or unreadable—please contact us and we will resolve it.
- Does this include remedies, gemstone recommendations, or medical advice?
- No. The report contains a section on traditional lucky colours and gemstone associations rooted in nakshatra folklore—clearly labeled as traditional associations, not prescriptions or guarantees. We make no medical, financial, or legal claims. Astrologic is designed for reflection and self-knowledge.
- Can I buy this as a gift?
- Yes—enter the recipient's birth details and your own email address (or theirs) for delivery. There is no gift toggle; just use their birth data and ensure both attachments go to the right inbox.
