Who operates Astrologic

Astrologic is a product and service offered by Lean Labs Private Limited (“Lean Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a private limited company incorporated in India. Corporate identification number (CIN): U62011KL2026PTC101862. Registered office: C/O Varghese, Mulllasseril, Pancode PO, Vadavucode, 682310, Kerala, India.

We maintain our corporate records and filings in line with requirements applicable to companies registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, including public disclosures on the MCA portal where required by law.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Astrologic, how we use it, and your rights. By using our website or purchasing a report, you acknowledge this policy together with our Terms of Use below.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), where it applies to our processing activities.

How your report is produced (technology disclosure)

This section describes how we generate your birth chart report. It is provided for transparency on this legal page as the authoritative description of our technology stack for the service.

Planetary positions and chart mathematics: We use software written in Python, with standard astronomical and ephemeris-style calculations, to compute planetary positions, house divisions, and related chart data from your birth date, time, and place.
Written report: The narrative text in your PDF is produced using artificial intelligence (AI): we send structured chart data to an AI model provider so that a written interpretation can be generated. Your chart-derived inputs are used only for this generation step and related service operations described in this policy.

Using the chart-context file outside Astrologic

We also deliver a Markdown file (astrologic-chart-context.md) that mirrors the narrative and includes structured chart data for your convenience. If you copy or upload that file to third-party applications—including large language models or assistants—those services are not operated by Astrologic. We are not responsible for their outputs, privacy practices, or retention. Treat the Markdown file with the same care as the PDF because it contains birth-related personal data. Any further processing is at your discretion and outside our service boundary; we do not warrant the accuracy or suitability of third-party interpretations.

What we collect

Birth data: Name, birth date, birth time, and birthplace. Used to compute your natal chart and generate your report.
Email address: Used to deliver your PDF report, the chart-context Markdown file, and to communicate about your order or support requests. We do not send marketing emails without your separate consent.
Payment data: Payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive only a transaction status confirmation—we never see or store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
Usage data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance monitoring. These are not used to build marketing profiles and are not linked to your birth data for any purpose other than security, fraud prevention, and diagnostics.

How we use your data

We use personal data only to operate Astrologic and deliver the service you request—specifically:

To compute your natal chart from your birth coordinates.
To generate the written PDF report using that chart data and the technology described above.
To email the finished PDF to the address you provide.
To confirm and process your payment via Razorpay.
To diagnose technical issues if you report a problem.

We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or profiling unrelated to providing the report.

Data storage and retention

Your birth data and generated report are stored securely on our systems. We retain this information so we can re-send your PDF if delivery fails and for a limited period for customer support. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us; we will respond within a reasonable period, subject to any legal obligation to retain certain records.

Third-party services

Razorpay: Handles payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
Anthropic (Claude): AI model provider for the written narrative. Chart-derived data is submitted to Anthropic's API to produce the report. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
Email delivery provider: Used to send your PDF. Your email address is shared only for transactional delivery and related service messages.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India or other competent authority as prescribed under the DPDP Act. To exercise rights or raise concerns, contact us using the details below.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies and similar technologies required for the service to function (for example, session state and security). We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking cookies for marketing.

Acceptance

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to the Astrologic website and your purchase of a personalised birth chart PDF report from Lean Labs Private Limited. By accessing the site, submitting an order, or paying for a report, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy above.

If you do not agree, do not use the service or complete a purchase.

The service

Astrologic offers a paid digital product: a personalised birth chart report delivered as a PDF, typically to the email address you provide at checkout. The report may also be made available for download after successful payment. Features, delivery times, and report format may be updated from time to time; material changes will be reflected on this site or at checkout where appropriate.

Accuracy of your information

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the birth details and contact information you provide (including name, date, time, and place of birth, and email address). The quality and positional accuracy of the chart depend on correct input—especially birth time. Errors or omissions in your data may produce an incorrect or less useful report. We are not obliged to provide a free replacement report or refund solely because of incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.

No professional, medical, or legal advice

Astrologic is intended for personal reflection and self-knowledge. The report is not medical, financial, legal, or other professional advice. We make no guarantee as to outcomes, suitability of any traditional associations mentioned in the report, or fitness for a particular purpose. You use the report at your own discretion and risk.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. You agree to Razorpay's terms and privacy practices for the payment step. Lean Labs does not store your full card, UPI, or net-banking credentials. Prices and taxes (if any) are shown at checkout before you pay.

Refunds and re-generation

Because the report is generated and delivered digitally after payment, refunds are not guaranteed and are granted only at our sole discretion where we determine it fair and consistent with applicable law—for example, a clear technical failure where no usable PDF was delivered.

Once your report has been successfully generated and delivered (including by email or download), we are not obliged to issue a refund, to produce a new report free of charge, or to correct outputs that result from incorrect or incomplete information you supplied, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with interpretive or astrological content. Requests for corrections based on new or corrected birth data may be treated as a new order at our then-current pricing.

Intellectual property

The Astrologic name, branding, website content, software, and report templates are owned by or licensed to Lean Labs Private Limited. On successful payment, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the PDF report you receive for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly republish the report or our proprietary materials without our prior written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in India, Lean Labs Private Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Astrologic or reliance on any report content.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Lean Labs for the specific report order giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including consumer protection statutes where they apply).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lean Labs from claims arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory provisions of law, you agree that the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Astrologic service.
