Why Astrologic emails a Markdown companion alongside the PDF, what the JSON appendix contains, and how to use external tools responsibly without treating model output as fact.
Every Astrologic order includes two attachments: a PDF for reading and printing, and astrologic-chart-context.md—a Markdown file with the same narrative chapters plus a closing fenced JSON appendix of your sidereal chart data. The PDF remains the primary artefact; the Markdown file is optional context for your own tools.
Why ship Markdown at all?
Some readers want a portable text layer they can search, diff, or paste into a note system without retyping placements. The JSON block mirrors the structured data the report generator used—useful if you maintain a personal research stack or want to ground an assistant in your computed longitudes and house cusps instead of a model's generic training prior.
Ground rules if you use external AI
Astrologic does not operate or endorse third-party chatbots. If you upload or paste the file elsewhere, you are responsible for that service's privacy policy and outputs. Large language models can hallucinate; always cross-check against the PDF tables and the JSON appendix. Nothing in an external tool replaces reading the report on its own terms.
What does not change
Calculation stack, disclaimers, and refund policy are unchanged—we still compute with Lahiri sidereal technique, generate narrative with AI under the disclosures on our privacy & terms page, and deliver both files to the email you provide at checkout.
