Kemadruma Yoga

By The Astrologic Desk · Editorial and calculation review

Kemadruma yoga forms when the Moon is isolated — no graha in the 2nd or 12th from it, none conjunct it, and none in a kendra from the Lagna. It is the absence of Sunapha, Anapha and Durudhara together. It is associated with emotional isolation and support arriving unreliably.

Category: Challenging. Rule: No graha other than the Sun in the 2nd or 12th from the Moon, no graha conjunct the Moon, and no graha in a kendra from the Lagna.

What it indicates

  • Periods of feeling unsupported
  • Self-reliance formed out of necessity
  • Fluctuating circumstances

Caveats

  • Several cancellation conditions exist, including a strong Moon in a kendra or benefic aspect to the Moon
  • Frequently overstated; the full technical conditions are rarely all met
