Harsha Yoga
By The Astrologic Desk · Editorial and calculation review
Harsha yoga is the first of the three viparita raja yogas. It forms when the lord of the 6th house — the house of enemies, debts and illness — occupies the 6th, 8th or 12th. It is associated with defeating competition, freedom from debt, and resilience in adversarial situations.
Category: Viparita. Rule: Lord of the 6th house occupying house 6, 8 or 12.
What it indicates
- Competitors neutralised rather than confronted
- Relative freedom from chronic debt
- Physical and situational resilience
Caveats
- Requires a reasonably strong 6th lord
- The 6th house context still brings conflict, only with better outcomes
